We used this campground as a base for a visit with friends a short drive away, so we didn't spend a lot of time during the day at the CG. However we found the staff to be very friendly & knowledgeable. Sites are grass/sand with lots of room. Bouctouche Dunes is directly across the road and is a must see. Walk the boardwalk on this environmentally protected area with a view across the bay to PEI which you can easily see on a clear day. Overall the CG was very clean and we would definitely stay again

This campground opened for the season on July 29th under new operators. Upgrades have been done to the washrooms and other improvements are ongoing. Operators are local family who live nearby. With the new highway bypassing the area, road noise will be a non-issue.

Camped here for a week (Jun 27-Jul4) and really enjoyed ourselves. We were in the "B" loop on site #34. Very large sites, grassy, roads were both gravel and paved. Excellent Wi-Fi reception and we had cable TV. Restrooms & showers were somewhat outdated but very clean. Close to all activities and attractions in Cavendish. We would definitley camp here again. Very helpful staff.

Possibly one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in. Staff were friendly. Great location. We had a riverside site which was very spacious. Overall very clean. The only negative comment I could make is that the office is upstairs which would be difficult if not impossible for some. However based on our interaction with staff, they would certainly do whatever they could. They also charge for pets. Will definitly be back.

We have stayed at this cg numerous times. If you like a big splashy facility, this is not your stop. However if you enjoy a friendly, family type atmosphere, drop anchor. This place has everything we need for a comfortable weekend or longer. Closest park to downtown Freeport shopping and easy to get to off I295 at exit 22. We will be back.

The only negative item for this cg is the lack of cable tv. Not a huge issue but would be nice. Very clean throughout, well maintained and staff are friendly. We have stayed there on 3 occasions in 2008. Close to shopping and attractions. We will certainly be back.

Without a doubt the worst cg we have ever stayed in. Had it not been for relatives in the area, we would have kept going. Cramped sites, dirty appearance to the grounds and staff that didn't know the term client service. WiFi didn't work and one ee just pointed to the phone number. Letter went to KOA and they assured me the owner would be in contact. It has now been a year and a half with no contact. Will never return. We stayed there in January 2008.
